T.A.R.A.S. is a provincially registered, non-profit organization, which was formed in 1984 to help provide a network of information for anyone interested in reptiles and amphibians.

Our goal is to promote education, conservation and responsible pet ownership by offering a wide range of resources that deal with the proper care of these fascinating, but specialized, animals.

The dates for our annual "Reptilemania!" event have been fully booked! We are very excited and cannot wait to share a day, and our animals with the public! Sunday March 11 10:00- 4:30(volunteers) 11:00-4:00 ( public) Eau Claire mall, community room. Please check out our event page for more details regarding our events!

Lastly,the dates for The Alberta Reptile and Amphibian Society spring show and sale have also been fully booked! We anticipate this next show to be bigger, better, and offer ALL KINDS of fantastic things to our public patrons! Stay tuned for sneak peaks and leaks!

The dates for The Calgary Reptile Expo (TARAS Spring Show and sale) are April 21st, 2012 from 10:00AM to 5:00PM and April 22nd, 2012 from 10:00AM to 4:00PM. The location is the Midsun Community Centre - 50 MIDPARK RISE SE, Calgary, Alberta.
