Default Racking question

Hey all I'm pretty new, but very obsessed. I'm looking into racking systems and after researching I have found these
http://www.walmart.com/ip/Sterilite-...#ProductDetail
This particular one is a little tight size wise (for adult balls) so I'll be looking for something bigger, and more uniformed in size obviously. But in the mean time any problems?
From what I've read heat tape does fine on plastic, probably do back heat tape so I don't just scrape it off when I open the drawers. Drill holes for ventilation and to feed in probe etc. They are pretty solid, I don't think escape would be an issue.

The only part that worries me is after stalking this site and others, I don't see anyone using them. Makes me think there's a problem I haven't thought of. Issues?

very NOT escape proof!

Your best bet would be to purchase a racking system through someone like Greg West ( from Calgary). His racks are very affordable

Hope this helps!

greg west is a great dude, but the cheaper way is you can build a rack out of melimine , and get some heat tape from greg, my rack to build cost less than 100 dollars

Also a very good option but I have no skill when it comes to tools, and enjoyed to ease of just ordering one...and picking it up ready to go! haha

I think building would be the way for me to go. for totes, whats the minimum height requirement? I found good ones for 6", but I've heard 12" is better.

Depends what you keep. Deeper containers are easier to see into, which makes unintentional neglect less likely too.

Greg West, Dustan, or building yourself... there are some good options for racks. I personally LOVE the NGM exotics rack I got from Dustan, but it was pricey.

I don't think neglect would be an issue, I have to contain myself not to be handling him every minute of the day.
