Default They Are Here!

So they are doing well. These are the two groups in their temporary enclosures. The excessive leaves and moss are from the predatory mite cultivation container and to allow the tarantulas to feel more at home. This way any parasites I missed end up being cleaned off the tarantulas while their home appears more natural.

The first two photos are of the the group of 21. The mother ran and hid in the main burrow before I could take photos. I've placed rocks in the water dishes so as not to have accidental drownings from the babies.

The third photo is of the group of 4. You can see 3 tarantulas in the picture.

So I just misted them, hence the water droplets on them.

I'm so excited and so happy they arrived well.

Yay!!! Congrats! They're so cute!

They look like they're in awesome shape too. I'm so glad they arrived safely (FINALLY) lol.

Keep us updated on these guys. I'm sure once you have babies Layne will be the first one on your door step lol

Awesome setup. What species are these? Are they the chicken spiders you've been talking about?

Yep, they are the chicken spiders. And so far no cannibalism. They are doing great. I've even come across the mother with babies riding on her back.

I am still waiting for the custom built tank and then I set up the background.
