Hi Angela here is the size i use in my current rack system, always plan ahead and buy a bigger rack system than you currently need because you will get the BUY IT NOW bug when it comes to Ball Pythons..lol..

Large Females - 33 X 16 X 6
Medium Size - 22 X 16 X 6
Small - 16 X 11 X 6
Hatchling - 13 1/2 X 8 X 3 1/2

Thanks
John

here are pics of my rack but they are from reptiles canada forum
http://www.reptilescanada.com/forums...g+issue&page=2

this is when i had an issue with heating, but it was cause my room was in the basement,
but either way you can see what it looks like and get an idea i wove the heat tape up the rack, cause it is way cheaper then haveing each level connected, maybe not the best way for the heat tape, but it works, and i have now taped over the heat tape with aluminum foil tape so that it stops ware of the heat tape when pulling out tubs

Thank for the info everybody! Need to get the Racking system first then to get the measurements for the heat tape. Whats the turn around for an order with Greg West?

Angela,

Depends on what you are looking for. If you are looking for a PVC rack I have all sizes in stock right now, so you could just come and pick one up. Let me know what size. I do have 2 of the large PVC racks that were testers that are a little scratched up that are cheaper than the usual price if that is the size you are interested in.

Thanks, I think I'm gonna try to build my own rack after I get my bins. I think it would be an interesting project. I'll definitely be picking up some tape from you. Another quick question, when I do get the shelves do I need melamine board or would melamine paint work as well? My assumption is there the same thing but board comes painted. Input?
